Requirements for Admissions
At East Coast Dental Institute, we welcome aspiring dental students who are passionate about making a difference in oral healthcare. Our admissions process is designed to select candidates who exhibit academic excellence, dedication, and a commitment to ethical dental practice.

Professional Qualifications
Applicants must be licensed dental professionals or recent dental graduates who have completed their dental education outside of the U.S. or are preparing for the U.S. Commission on Dental Competency Assessments (CDCA) exam.
Experience Level
A minimum of one year of clinical experience or equivalent hands-on dental practice is required. Applicants should have familiarity with basic dental procedures, including restorative work and crown preparation.
Commitment to Skill Development
Participants must demonstrate a strong desire to improve their clinical skills and be committed to engaging in rigorous hands-on practice under the guidance of our expert instructors.
English Proficiency
As the course is conducted in English, applicants should have a working proficiency in the English language to ensure effective communication and understanding of technical instructions.
Application Submission
All applicants must submit a completed application form, a copy of their dental degree or licensure, and a brief personal statement outlining their goals for taking the course.
Based on application materials, selected candidates may be asked to participate in a short interview to assess readiness for the course and ensure the best fit for the program.
For applicants who have limited experience with specific procedures (e.g., Class II restorations or anterior crown preparations), we recommend completing a prerequisite online module or workshop prior to attending our course to ensure a smooth learning experience.
